a copy of the Masterchef Masterclass DVD...

Indira was on the 1st episode of Celebrity Masterchef and lost :-(

I had to write who I would invite out of the judges for dinner and what would I cook..

I wrote that myself, Madeline & Sebastian who if you read this blog know we have been addicted to the show...would invite Matt Cravat.

Sebastian would choose Roast Chicken and vegies,

Madeline - chocolate pudding with lots of sauce and cream

cant wait for the DVD to arrive ...

Some pretties and a monster !!

I went to my 1st Cupcake decorating class last night, another 3 to go and really enjoyed it.

We were given the cupcakes and butter icing and also had a kit to buy.

I have never had a class in decorating before, always just did "my thing"

So its good to actually learn the proper way LOL

Not my colours of choice ..except the purple one -which in the photo came out blue..

Here are some pretty cupcakes ...sorry about the fuzzy photos, took them last night and the camera was not co-operating for some reason. And I knew the cakes wouldnt last long in this house !

he is actually a bright purple not blue !

Sebastian is thinking about taking this for for show and share -then eat at school tomorrow...

and after buying the Wilton 3D cupcake tin and trying it out before I actually make Madelines birthday cake in a month.
Mad & Seb suggested a Halloween theme cake.

Just picked the roses from my garden. The purple one is my all time favourite.
I love the smell, colour and name...Blue Moon.

Madelines Assignment

Madeline has a school assignment of making a house and then turning it into an Energy efficient home.

With Jons help and her friend they made this.

Its to be finished off at school.

The 2 metal/foil squares are the Solar panels :-)

sausage roll anyone ???

spent a few hours this afternoon making sausage rolls, and a cake..

The sausage roll were for a Pink Ribbon " Girls night in" night with friends...but it has been cancelled, due to the host getting Gastro !!

and the cake is under construction and hopefully I can post a photo tomorrow...

I did and think it only took me 5mths ..knitting is not my strong point.

My Dad ...

My dad George would have been 72 today.

happy birthday dad xxxx

and next Monday he has been gone 30 years ...

He has been gone longer than I had him.

He died when I was 12 and my brother Chris was 7.

School holiday ritual

Every school holidays for 2 years now, the sleeping arrangements change from beds to mattress & sleeping bags in the lounge.

They get the mattress out and sleeping bags ready for the 1st night which is the friday night end of term.

All ready to go ...

And sleep here until the Saturday night before school goes back..
and any friends who sleep over join in ..
also there is the advantage of sleeping in and watching movies, or going to bed early and watching movies :-)

I'm in my own bed :-)
