The end of 2009 ...

And what a way to end it...

My 2 most favourite people in the world, our last photo for 2009.

I hope that next year is

not full of dramas ...

but..

full of dreams...

And one dream of mine is happening in Feburary.

We are off to Disneyland ..

What a great start to the year.

I hope to all that read this blog, have enjoyed all my photos and news of what is happening in my little world.

1st birthday party tonight ...

For my cute little nephew

He was 1 on Boxing day, but the BIG party is tonight

The cake for tonight which I made.

It's over for another year ....

Well its over for another year. How fast does the day go ??

We had a great few days, full of family and fun..oh and eating and drinking.

Started the celebrations on Christmas eve with having 18 here for a bbq tea, then playing Wii "just dance" what a laugh ..

Christmas morning kids were awake about 6.30am ... Santa had been, they have all been good !

Those who didnt stay the night arrived by 8am for breakfast, our traditional Ham on toast.

My uncle got an 11kg ham..think that might feed us LOL

then present opening time ...

Everyone loved their presents, and all spoilt again.

Christmas lunch was only 8 of us, and very quiet

Roast pork, chicken, ham , turkey, picked pork.

roast potatoes, pumpkin, beans, peas, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower..

then..

Mums homemade pudding with custard ...mmmm

Boxing day everyone was back..23 this time ..

for cold meats, salad, cheesecake, trifle , fruit salad..

and birthday cake for my adorable little nephew

A busy day decorating .....

After spending 2 hours this afternoon re-arranging Sebastians bedroom ready for his new bed, we started to decorate the gingerbread house and men.

We also made 2 chocolate houses, 1 for us and one for nana - my mum

She popped up to help decorate and eat chocolate..

Seb made mums with her help and Mad made ours ...

Mad & Seb each decorated a side of the house, so there was no theme apart from

"I can put more on than you" !!

Here are some of the biscuits I did last night in my last class.

Love the penguins ..more for decoration than eating.

The Santa is meant to be an Aussie Santa in swimming trunks !

I'm running out of time !!!

I am slowly running out of time before Santa arrives...



I have shopping to do.. checking my list, 1, 2 & 3 times ..

I have my last cupcake class Wed night - its a christmas biscuit one - so be prepared for photos

I have just put a double lot of fruit into a container with heaps of brandy to soak, I need to make christmas cakes and going to attempt some fruitcake cupcakes ..fingers crossed they work.

Kids want to make a gingerbread house - which we will do


I want to make christmas biscuits and name each one for the christmas table gift - only have to make 18 !!


We have Mad & Sebs school concert next thursday night - need to get costumes

Madeline has an overnight school camp and i am helping do the breakfast


Also have end of year school parties they both want me to help out with on the same day at 2 different places and make party food.


I want to finish, but have my doubts, my cross stitch mountianeer Santa bell pull , done 1, 2nd in progress, 3rd - well maybe Christmas 2010.


Oh one last thing I forgot - work nearly every day until christmas - even weekends, and no doubt there will be a midnight shift in there :-)



We also have my nephews 1st birthday on Boxing day, but party on NYE. I am making the cake - its a pirate theme, so its going to be a pirate cake. So have to make sure I have all the colours and ingredients from the cake deco shop before christmas.


So think I may need to plan my days and nights for a while to get it done ...no point really complaining as its....
