I might be biased because he is my nephew, but he is so good to look after, so funny with what he comes out with, and kids love him...

I've only "borrowed" it ...

My SIL grandma made my mum 2 crocheted ripple blankets..and mum can only use 1 at a time, so this 1 would have just sat there all alone and sad....

That's what I told her..lol

So I have "borrowed" it until I get 1 ....

I have been trying to do one myself via YouTube and so far not so good..

So I think a trip to grandmas might be in order for a lesson and maybe a hint for her beautiful apple slice she makes for my brother... ( I do know her..lol )

back to doing my 2 favourite things ...

this is Just Nans Voilet Humbug

almost finished in time

for easter ..this year !

and I have a whole Sunday

to myself ... no work, soccer, running kids around

so I cooked ...

banana bread

which is so nice warmed for breakfast

 A lemon tart ..

which when cooking it

is more like a cheesecake which

I dont think should be cooked

so we will wait and see tonight

when I serve it for dessert

 and since I was playing

the Domestic goddess ..

I made Nigellas

maderia cake ..

smell so nice with the lemon in it ...

this afternoon I hope to almost finish the violet humbug..if

not closer to it ...

mum is coming up for tea ..roast chicken and

the lemon tart ... i do have ice cream as a back up ..lol

Storyline

Crazy hair day ...

at school today..

Taylor Swift concert ....

for Christmas Mad gave me 2 tickets to the

Taylor Swift concert..

I knew 1 was for her ..lol

so it was finally last night

in Melbourne At Rod Laver Arena.

Before the night started I met up with the Fab 3

Helen Lissy & Coral

and to our dismay a few of our favourite haunts were closed..

oh no ...but seeing it was

a public holiday in Victoria it was on the cards..

so those shops missed out on some serious buying ..

oh well ..next time ...

so then onto the concert ...

the support act was

Hot Chelle Rae ..

ok..know I didnt know who they were until i heard this song ..

my age was showing ...lol

then ...

Taylor Swift ....

she was not one I would choose to see

but we both  Mad & I really enjoyed the concert

and had a wonderful mum & daughter time together ..xx

our next concert is

Lady Ga Ga in June ..
