Sebastian and spiders .....

Sebastian has a small black plastic spider and has taken to thinking that if he hides it in places, he can scare the *&^%$ out of me !

I dont like spiders in any form - real or pretend.

2 nights ago he hid it under my pillow, 10.30 at night after watching CSI it was not a good idea .. this was after 3 other hiding places along with standing on it. I will give it to him that he hides "spidey" well.

So yesterday I went and got the hairy big one above - even the shop assistant scared me when she went and got it, I was distracted by something, looked away, looked back and there it was on the table ...heart rate back to normal a few minutes later ... I walked out with it in a big bag.

I hid it in his bed last night under his doona, it worked ... he he

Get up this morning I have hidden it on his cahir at the table , he hid his on the milk container, me - yes he got me again, him - it fell off the chair and all I got was "good one mum" .

might have to go hide his on him today ...

Its Saturday ...

Both Madeline & Sebastian are starting soccer tomorrow. Could be interesting, Seb will be fine.

Madeline ...well ....after telling me green was not her colour, asking for a matching headband for her hair and what she is going to do with her hair ....well ....

Sebastian keeps telling her Princesses are not allowed on the team ...will see what happens after the game and if she wants to continue playing.

Back to school Monday and back to the routine, only under 2 months till we are off to Qld for 2 weeks.

I'm back ...

Well its been a while since I have updated this page. We are setting up a Withers web page

We will be adding and changing the web page all the time. There will be photos of all occassions - birthdays, easter, christmas etc. Also we each have a page, Madelines is around her favourite things - Jasper the dog, Bewitched and I dream of Jeannie...Sebastians of course - Super heroes ....

Mine will be on ..well not quite sure yet, but things I love to do.Cross stitch, scrapbooking, lace making and of course taking photos of my 2 favourite people.

I will also be updating this page with a few photos, but not as many as the web page.

Since last posting we have had Sebastians 6th birthday, he had a great party with heaps of his friends playing games and lots of presents, then on his actual birthday we took him and Madeline and 2 friends rock climbing, they had a ball ...

Also we have had Easter ..and of course Easter Bunny did his usual delivery, then we had a family BBQ with lots more easter eggs for both of the children, and me of course ..we are still eating them and heaps to go ..thats good for a chocoholic like me, and as if I need all that chocolate ..

Back to school ...

Well its back to school for these two. Its been a fun school holidays, but now back to the routine.

Madeline in now in Grade 4 and Sebastian Grade 1.

How quiet is it going to be here today, I will miss them.

back to work ....

Well I am back to work tomorrow, can't believe I have had 2 weeks off and Christmas and New Year have come and gone ...

Hoping to get a few more hours at work and I will find out tomorrow. If not I am going to be out there looking for a new job. Maybe a change will be good.

Havent done much in the school holidays apart from Supersoaker fights with the kids, playing PS2 with them - getting good at Buzz Monster rumble, I can beat the spare monster ... and seeing Alvin and the chipmunks. Ok yes it was good and I did laugh. Sebastian has had a sleep over at a friends so I had a sleep over with Madeline in my bed, watching a dvd on my new t.v. She also has asked to go to see Enchanted, which is a girly movie - so we will have a girls night together.

Next week have to take Sebastian to get an outfit for my brothers wedding in Feb, have a dress for Madeline on layby so just have to pick it up. Have mine already and have to get some jewellery to go with it. We are planning on heading to Melbourne one day, so will look up there.

Its 2008 ....

Well its 2008 ....where has 2007 gone and what have we done ??

New Years day was spent recovering from NYE - not hangovers, but the heat. The children got supersoakers for Christmas and I went and got us one as well, so we spent the afternoon getting each other. They both thought ganging up on mum was the best thing, and I was "so cool" getting so wet ! How could you not with 2 constantly laughing and filling up and drowning you. You can put ice blocks inside it to make the water icy cold - Sebastian was slightly disappointed he thought they actually fired ice blocks ....

So for 2007, Sebastian started Prep and Madeline grade 3. Both did excellent and loved school. Its amazing to see Sebastian read, from reading a few words to reading books.

This year they move onto Grade 1 & 4 and Sebastian turns 7, Madeline into "double figures" 10. We are also hoping to head to sunny Qld in June for 2 weeks - Movie World here we come.

Lets hope 2008 is a great year xxxxx
